How consent is collected

Rambridge, operated by Ramexar LLC. This page shows the opt-in step exactly as it appears to the people who receive our messages.

Who we message

We message one group of people and no other: registered Rambridge account holders, about their own case file on our platform. A person reaches us by opening a secure link from the law firm handling their matter, and then creating an account at rambridge.app. Their case file, their documents, their forms and their messages all live in our portal. Every text we send is a short notification that something in that portal needs them, with a link to it.

We do not send messages on a law firm's behalf to that firm's own contact list. We do not text anyone who has not registered with us. There is no public form where a member of the public types their number into our website, and we never buy, rent or import phone numbers. The number we hold is the one the account holder gave during intake, on their own screen.

The opt-in, and the exact wording

Consent is given by the account holder, in their own portal, at rambridge.app/my/settings. It is off until they turn it on. Nothing is pre-ticked, nothing is bundled into a longer agreement, and no law firm can set it for them. This is the screen, reproduced as it appears in the product.

The box above is unticked because that is the default state of the real screen, not an illustration of it. Until it is ticked, our server refuses to send an SMS to that account.

What the recipient then receives

Rambridge: there is an update on your case with Smith & Partners. Open your portal: https://rambridge.app/my/cases

Transactional only: a document or form is waiting, a payment request is outstanding, a deadline is approaching, or the firm has sent a message. No marketing and no promotional content, ever. The message never carries case details, only the notice and the link.

Opting out

Replying STOP to any message stops them immediately. The same switch in the portal turns them off, and the account holder can turn them back on there whenever they choose. Replying HELP, or writing to support@rambridge.app, reaches us. Opting out of texts never affects the case: the portal remains the record copy and email continues to work.

Who is responsible for the message

Ramexar LLC, doing business as Rambridge, is the sender of record. Rambridge operates this opt-in mechanism and is the sole author of the message content: the wording above is our template in four languages, and firms cannot compose, edit or schedule a text message anywhere in the product. The firm is named inside the message only so the recipient recognises which of their matters it concerns.

Full terms are in our SMS Messaging Policy.
